Terrific Feedback

Terrific Feedback Owner's Manual

Congratulations on choosing Terrific Feedback! This guide will help you get started and make the most of your feedback management platform.

Introduction

Terrific Feedback is a collaborative tool for collecting, organizing, and acting on user feedback. Each project you create serves as a dedicated space for gathering suggestions, bug reports, and feature requests from your users.

Getting Started

To begin, create an account and subscribe if you haven’t already. Subscription is required before you can create your first project. Once subscribed, you can create a new project, which acts as a container for all feedback submissions. When you create a project, you’ll be prompted to provide a name. This name will generate a unique URL (for example, https://feedback.terrific.com.mx/yourproject) that you can share with your customers to start collecting feedback.
Users can submit feedback posts by providing a title and description. Each post can include up to four images to give additional context. To keep things organized, posts can be categorized under boards, such as Bugs or Features. Boards help you organize feedback by category. You can create boards from the user dropdown menu by selecting the Boards option, and you can assign a name and color to each board for easy identification.

Managing Feedback

As a project owner, you will receive email notifications whenever new feedback is submitted. Each notification includes a direct link to view the feedback post. On the feedback post page, you can read and respond to feedback, reassign the board, and change the post status. The available statuses are Pending, Reviewing, Planned, In Progress, Completed, and Closed.
Anyone can subscribe to a post by clicking the bell icon to receive updates when comments are added or the status changes. You can unsubscribe at any time to stop receiving notifications. Both project owners and users can vote on feedback posts, and the main post page highlights the top posts by vote count. Posts can be filtered by board, status (open or closed), or popularity. Open statuses include Pending, Reviewing, Planned, and In Progress, while closed statuses are Completed and Closed.

Roadmap

Each project has a dedicated roadmap page. Posts with statuses other than Pending or Reviewing will appear on the roadmap. When you mark a post as Planned or In Progress, it is automatically added to the roadmap. You can filter the roadmap to show only open posts (Planned or In Progress) or closed posts (Completed or Closed).

Owner Identification

Posts and comments made by the project owner are marked with a star in the avatar, making it easy for users to recognize official responses.

Best Practices

To get the most out of Terrific Feedback, use boards to keep feedback organized and encourage users to attach images for clearer context. Regularly update post statuses to keep everyone informed, and use the roadmap to communicate your progress and future plans.
